Welcome to the 3rd Australasian Vaccines & Immunotherapeutics Development Meeting 2010 Website! The biennial AVID (Australian Vaccine and Immunotherapeutics Development) meetings are designed to bring together a wide range of scientists and clinicians from both Australia and overseas, to discuss novel biotherapies for the treatment of important human and animal diseases. The meeting will cover programs that are developing new vaccines, therapeutic antibodies and other novel biopharamaceutical treatments. AVID seeks to bring together these key groups along with academia and reprentantives from the business world to share in the latest developments in these areas and to discuss both their successes and failures.
The 2010 AVID meeting (the 3rd AVID meeting) will take place in Melbourne at the Bio21 facility from 5th to 7th May. The organising committee is in the process of inviting top local and international speakers to cover a wide range of products in development and undergoing clinical trial.
